STEFANIA DI MARCELLO

Architect and Art Conservator, she obtained her degree from the University of Roma Tre in 2005 and, in the same year, the diploma in Restoration from the Istituto Centrale per il Restauro, where she studied restoration of mural paintings, canvases, panels, and in Restoration of polychrome wooden sculptures.

From 2007 to 2018, she practiced as a restorer with her own company, participating in several national and international projects. She worked in Italy, Egypt, China, Jordan, the USA, and in Palestine.
Since 2018, she has been permanently employed by the Ministry of Culture with the role of restoration-conservation officer. She is currently serving at the Istituto Centrale per il Restauro in Rome, specifically in the laboratory for panel paintings and polychrome wooden sculpture.
In 2020, she won the competition for a Ph.D. program at the University of Tor Vergata, Rome, in the Faculty of Arts, specializing in Cultural Heritage, Education, and Territory. The program will end in April 2024.
